This vintage chronograph watch features a beautiful aged rose gold plated case with screw back that is very high quality for the era it was made. The dial is beautifully aged and its design, with unique numerals and a classic feel, reflects the era it was made, which we estimate to be in the early 1950’s. This is a large and substantial vintage watch for the era at 36mm and with its thick high quality screw back case. The Landeron 248 powering this vintage watch is an upgraded version featuring a copper colored finished which makes it both attractive and more corrosion resistant. The movement also includes Incabloc shock protection. The watch’s original sword hands projects the usual class and sophistication found in watches of this era. It’s case is well done and substantial and is very comfortable to wear and read. For a watch not recently serviced, the movement is running very strongly, a testament to the last watchmaker who worked on it.
