Summary

Technos was a popular watch brand in the 1960’s and early 1970’s. Their cases and dials tended to be better quality then other similar brands. Their stand-out watches were their Divers. They reminded many people, then and now, of the classic Rolex Submariners. From a visual standpoint, this Technos diver watch is very similar to a Rolex 6536 Submariner. For these reasons, vintage Technos diver watch’s are sought-after by collectors. This is an outstanding example of a Technos divers watch. As noted in the Support section, though we call it a Diver’s watch, don’t dive with it. None of the watches we sell should be exposed to any water or moisture, if it’s raining cover them under your sleeve or take them off. Vintage watches need to be protected not tested for how many elements of nature they can endure. This watch is in overall fantastic condition and running superbly but has some scratches from use and wear.

These represent the average performance of the watch across all 6 traditionally measured watch positions which, in addition to dial-up and dial-down, are the vertical positions of Crown-Up, Crown-Down, Crown-Left, and Crown-Right. Rate is expressed in seconds gained or lost during a 24 hour period. Amplitude is in degrees. Beat Error is in milliseconds. Lift Angle used in measurement is unique to the particular watch calibre.
