This beautiful vintage chronograph fits right-into the late 1940’s when we believe it was manufactured. During this time, the wristwatch chronograph had gained widespread popularity and Landeron helped make chronographs available to a larger audience with their robust cam-based designs. This watch has a mellow, relaxed design, with its aged neutral colored dial. Matched with its beautiful dark tan brown Hirsch strap and matching Hadley Roma deployant buckle, this watch will have you easing through the day and will put a smile on your face every time you use the chronograph or check the time. The watch 'wears larger,' meaning it feels like a more substantial watch on the wrist than the size may indicate, because these chronograph movements are thick and the case itself is also thicker.

Yellow gold plated
34mm excluding crown
Hirsch strap, like new worn 5-10 times, with matching Hadley Roma deployant buckle. The strap is sized long. If you have a medium or smaller wrist please let us know and we will replace the strap with a regular length ZRC strap made in France.
We estimate the watch was manufactured in approximately the late 1940’s based on its style and movement.
The service history for this watch is not known.
Case has the typical scratches and dings that are common to watches of this age and add to its character. Similarly the dial shows some discoloration, again common for watches of this age. As commonly found on vintage watches, gold plating is worn or missing in various spots on the watch.

Performance measurements for this watch are provided below. See the Support page of our website for an explanation of watch performance measurements and guidance on interpretation. The watch performance values provided do not necessarily reflect the accuracy you will experience based on your unique watch wearing habits. Legend: Rate, Amplitude (Amp), and Beat Error (BE) are provided for Dial-Up (CH) and Dial-Down (FH) positions. Averages (Avg) are also provided. These represent the average performance of the watch across all 6 traditionally measured watch positions which, in addition to dial-up and dial-down, are the vertical positions of Crown-Up, Crown-Down, Crown-Left, and Crown-Right. Rate is expressed in seconds gained or lost during a 24 hour period. Amplitude is in degrees. Beat Error is in milliseconds. Lift Angle used in measurement is unique to the particular watch calibre.
