Summary
This is a beautiful and rare Tissot vintage chronograph from the 1940's powered by the Lemania 15TL movement which is the same as the Omega 33.3. This watch was Fully Serviced by ClockSavant. This particular watch's movement is marked 33.3, exactly as the Omega version of the movement is marked (see the last picture showing the movement disassembled.) During this era, Omega, Tissot, and Lemania worked closely together and many of the watches manufactured are identical with the exception of the brand printed on the dial. The Lemania 15TL Omega 33.3 is an incredibly robust movement, so much so that military and government organizations around the world used this movement for mission critical applications for many years, often keeping the same watch in-service for decades. This watch features a stunning vintage rose gold plated case that is in superb condition and features a beautifully aged dial with character, patina, and fading as shown in the picture. We believe the case, dial, hands, pushers, and crown are all original to this watch. The crystal may also be original but these were often changed over the years by necessity. We matched the watch with a beautiful new Dassari distressed leather band and an excellent RHD matching deployant buckle. We fully serviced this watch and it is running superbly. This watch features an unusual combination of age, character, class, and rarity and would be an outstanding addition to your collection.

ClockSavant Watchmaker Testing, Certification, and Performance Measurement
All the watches we sell go through a comprehensive series of ClockSavant-developed functional, stability, and performance tests and are only approved for sale if they meet or exceed the criteria we have established. Performance measurements for this watch are provided below. See the Support page of our website for an explanation of watch performance measurements and guidance on interpretation. The watch performance values provided do not necessarily reflect the accuracy you will experience based on your unique watch wearing habits. You may experience a gain or loss by as much as approximately 1 minute per day with vintage watches. Legend: Rate, Amplitude (Amp), and Beat Error (BE) are provided for Dial-Up (CH) and Dial-Down (FH) positions. Averages (Avg) are also provided. These represent the average performance of the watch across all 6 traditionally measured watch positions which, in addition to dial-up and dial-down, are the vertical positions of Crown-Up, Crown-Down, Crown-Left, and Crown-Right. Rate is expressed in seconds gained or lost during a 24 hour period. Amplitude is in degrees. Beat Error is in milliseconds. Lift Angle used in measurement is unique to the particular watch calibre.
