Summary
This is a beautiful and classy vintage Lemania chronograph from the early 1940's. It features a Lemania 27 CH movement which is the same as the Omega 321. The watch's art deco inspired dial is original and rare, and the watch's curved "fancy" lugs are a reminder of the beautiful art, style, and class of the 1940's. The watch is running very well. We optimized its hairspring, balance, and escapement for excellent timing results and fine-tuned chronograph operation. As you can see in the pictures, the movement is in excellent condition. We matched the watch with a chocolate brown ZRC leather strap made in France and a stainless steel Hirsch deployant buckle. Note that you will see a small mark on the top left lug (by 11 o'clock)-- this watch was obtained by us from Portugal and when it was originally imported into Portugal in the 1940's, their customs group would mark the watches on the top lug to show customs had been paid. There is information on the Internet relating to this, other collectors have made note of this import mark. This is another interesting attribute of this watch and its history. We do not find the mark noticeable or distracting on the wrist but you can see the mark if you look for it.

ClockSavant Watchmaker Testing, Certification, and Performance Measurement
All the watches we sell go through a comprehensive series of ClockSavant-developed functional, stability, and performance tests and are only approved for sale if they meet or exceed the criteria we have established. Performance measurements for this watch are provided below. See the Support page of our website for an explanation of watch performance measurements and guidance on interpretation. The watch performance values provided do not necessarily reflect the accuracy you will experience based on your unique watch wearing habits.
