I recently serviced this 1970’s Seiko Pogue 6139-6005 for the original owner. It stopped working and the crown and bezel rotating gear fell-out. The watch was turned-away by several watchmakers in the past and the owner had given-up on it and put it into a drawer. In recent times he found ClockSavant. In the pictures I show the case, with the movement installed, in several stages of assembly. These cases have six parts on the front side including the crystal. They have their own interesting look, at least to me, during assembly while inset into the case. A new stem with rotating gear was fit to the case. Overall this single owner watch from the 1970’s was well cared for and is now performing superbly once again.
