I’m back from sabbatical for former customers only at this time. This post inaugurates my return from hibernation. You are looking at an Omega Flightmaster caliber 910. This is the earliest flightmaster version from 1969. Later versions use caliber 911. Omega designed this watch for pilots. It is one of Omega’s more complicated movements produced just prior to the quartz crisis. It features a 24 hour indicator along with chronograph seconds, minute and hour counters. The multicolor dial is as spectacular in person as it is in the pictures. The helmet style case exudes early 70’s confidence and style. A new crystal was installed and various issues with the case and movement were addressed during servicing. Once completed, performance went from poor to like new with an 8 second variance across all positions and average amplitude of 275– ready to guide a flight once again.
